The short version

This summary is written for convenience and has no legal effect. Where it differs from the full documents, the full documents govern.

• Your notes are yours. You keep ownership of everything you write. We take only the narrow licence needed to store, sync, index and display it back to you.
• We don't sell your data and we don't run advertising. Revenue comes from subscriptions.
• AI features send your text to Google's Gemini API to summarise, tag and organise it. This is the one place your content leaves our infrastructure. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
• You can export or delete everything at any time from Settings, or by emailing us.
• Cancel whenever. No auto-converting trials, no cancellation fees.
• Available worldwide. DumpNotes is available worldwide, in English, to anyone who can lawfully access it. Pricing is shown in your local currency where supported, and local taxes are calculated at checkout. Your local consumer and data protection rights always apply on top of these documents, and where they are more protective, they win.
• If something goes wrong, email us first — most things are fixed at that stage. If it cannot be, the dispute goes to a court, including a small claims court where the amount qualifies.
• AI output can be wrong. Check anything that matters before relying on it.

How we handle changes

Every document carries a “last updated” date. For material changes — anything that meaningfully reduces your rights, expands our use of your data, or changes what you pay — we give notice at least 30 days in advance by email to the address on your account and by an in-app notice, before the change takes effect.

Minor changes (typos, clarifications, new subprocessors of the same kind) are published with an updated date and no separate notice. All policies were last revised on 10 August 2026.
